Levels of Employment

1. Compliance Head (up to Assistant Manager)

Criteria for Academic Qualification

  • A Master's Degree in Management/Economics or a related field is required, with Chartered Accountancy an added advantage.

Experience Criteria

  •  At least three years of experience in a financial institution, with a strong understanding of compliance and risk management practices.
  • Prior experience designing an effective compliance framework for a bank will be a plus.

Other Competencies

  • Should be well-versed in anti-money laundering corporate governance and
  • To support business decision-making, a conflict of interest is used.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to inform and educate employees, and also to file correct and accurate compliance reports with regulating agencies.
  • Ability to inform, educate, and train employees on matters that are associated with regulations and industry practices.
  • Ability to formulate a comprehensive compliance checklist and provide periodic reports and flags
  • The ability to help with the automation of compliance functions.

Scope

  • Design and implement a robust compliance framework commensurate with the bank’s operations.
  • Ensure that business operations adhere to the compliance framework of the bank.
  • Carry out reviews at appropriate frequencies to assess compliance with regularity rules and internal standards.
  • Monitor, follow-up, and report the compliance status of the on-site examination periodically to concerned authorities.
  • Flag compliance or potential noncompliance on a regular basis so that immediate action can be taken.
  • Handle official meetings, communication, correspondence, and responses to all statutory bodies.

Age Criteria

  • Must be under the age of 35 at the time of application.
