Job Description
  • Drive and oversee the company's important business growth projects and battles.
  • Create a clear project timeline and work plan and manage it.
  • Set KPIs for each project and track performance to stay on top of things.
  • Plan and execute growth plan projects with cross-functional department heads and leads.
  • Set up meetings at regular intervals to keep the project's management and other stakeholders up to date.
  • To guarantee that all projects are delivered on schedule, coordinate and follow up with functional teams. - Set up and lead essential cross-departmental meetings as needed, according to the scope of work, to ensure that all project areas are going forward.
  • Identify obstacles in interdepartmental procedures and work to improve or simplify them.
  • In order to launch projects on time and smoothly, keep track of project progress, detect, report, and address concerns.
  • Think outside the box to find new opportunities for expansion or service enhancement, both inside and outside the scope.
  • Incorporate and apply best practices with our regional teams based outside of Nepal.
  • Drive collaboration and positive relationships between Daraz's functions in order to achieve common corporate goals, while remaining skeptical enough to question present methods for better results.
Some current major projects that may include as part of the roles are below. In addition to this other minor projects may also be incorporated as part of this role.
  • Supply Growth Battle:
Major battle in the company to ensure we drive enough quality assortment and quality sellers in the company. You will be expected to understand all current existing processes with all cross functional departments and how they can be optimized to direct our resources for a better supply.
  • Category Expansion:
Not all categories are available in every area. Understanding the relevant category/logistical problems for not being able to provide and diving deep to work with relevant teams to open up these categories will be your duty. You will be asked to establish and develop a plan, as well as how we can carry it out in various phases and measure its performance.

Requirements
  • With at least 4 years of managerial experience, a master's degree or relevant experience is required.
  • Negotiation skills, persuading abilities, and high analytical abilities have all been demonstrated.
  • Demonstrated capacity to excel in high-pressure, fast-paced, dynamic, and confusing circumstances.
  • Working understanding with Excel and the Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to mentor, coach, and serve as a knowledge resource for coworkers
  • Prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines are all examples of good organizational abilities.
