Civil Bank Limited, Class ‘A’ Commercial Bank of Nepal, requires pool of competent, Human Resources for its sustainable growth objectives to be achieved through controlled aggression and seeks applications for the following positions from competent Nepalese candidates with excellent interpersonal skills, high professional standards and integrity for its existing branches across the country.

1. Digital Transformation Manager – 1 Position (CIBL-DTM-01-2021)

Level: Managerial Level (M1)

Required Knowledge & Skills:

  • Develop/implement digital strategy for the Bank conjoint with the channels and digital products, generate an idea funnel towards achieving results in-line with the overall strategy.
  • Proven functional and technical proficiency across business and product digitization, big data analytics, prognostics.
  • Expertise in developing digitally-focused business solutions and their translation into operations and IT, for customers and for BU.
  • Sound knowledge of Banking processes, Digital Banking products, Channel Integration, BI system Development and end to end knowledge of banking interlinked systems.
  • Optimize Business by lowering costs through digitization of processes.
  • Software Improvement / Project Monitoring Skills.
  • Strong understanding/focus on digital technologies and platform ecosystems and how this are impacting the banking industry.
  •  Preference will be given to the candidate having experience in Digital Banking team administration expertise.

Experience: At least 7 years of banking experience with exposure in IT/Digital Banking fields.

2. Digital Banking – 5 Positions (CiBL-DB-02-2021)

Level: 52/53/54

Required Knowledge & Skills:

  • Candidate is responsible to scrutinize information using data analysis tools.
  • Candidate is required to be highly analytical with a knack for analysis, math and statistics.
  • Strong in Database concepts and competence in SQL query and optimization, preferably MS SQL, and/or MySQL/PostgreSQL
  • Experience of BI tools (Power BI, SSRS, tableau etc.)

  • Hands on experience in C#, PHP, Java or Python

Experience: At least 2 years of experience in Financial Analytics/Credit Modeling, Predictive Analysis and Big Data Analysis using Python/R. Preference shall be given to the experience in banking field. However, candidates meeting the criteria and working in private companies are also encouraged to apply.

3. Trade Finance Department – 2 Positions (CiBL-TFC-03-2021)

Level: 53/54/01

Required Knowledge & Skills:

  • Candidate is responsible for overall functioning of Trade Finance including inspection of all the issued LC’s, Guarantees, Export related activities, DAP/DAA, issued TT’s and LC payments.
  • The job holder is responsible to ensure that rules and regulations of NRB through its Unified Directives are fully complied.

Experience: At least 2 years of banking experience with at least 1 year of experience in Trade Finance for Assistant Level and 5 years of banking experience with at least 3 year of experience in Trade Finance for Officer Level.

4. Branch Manager – 5 Positions (CiBL-BM-04-2021)

Level: Officer Level (03), Managerial Level (M1)

Required Knowledge & Skills:

  • Candidate need to be acquainted with overall credit sales and operational functions of the bank and have the ability to lead diverse team effectively, demonstrate strong sense of work ethics, and have strong drive with a demonstrated willingness to take on challenging sales targets.
  • Experience: At least 7 years of banking experience for Managerial Level and 5 years of banking experience for Officer Level in Credit Sales and Operations.

5. Relationship Manager – 5 Positions (CiBL-RM-05-2021)

Level: Assistant Level (53/54)

Location: Only Outside Valley Branches

Required Knowledge & Skills:

Candidate is required to be enthusiastic in generating new business by identifying opportunities for possible sales, building and maintaining relationships with customers, offering them banking products and advising them on various banking related queries.

Experience: At least 2 years of banking experience in Credit Sales/ Marketing.

Note: The applicant must be presently working at the same level or one level below the position applied for.

1. Managerial Level: 29 to 50 years for male candidates and for female candidates age should not exceed 55 years as of last date of vacancy notice. Masters Degree or equivalent from recognized university/college.

2. Officer Level: 22 to 40 years for male candidates and for female candidates age should not exceed 45 years as of last date of vacancy notice. Bachelors Level from recognized university/college for all positions.

3. Assistant Level: 19 to 30 years for male candidates and for female candidate age should not exceed 35 years as of the last date of vacancy notice. Intermediate Level from a recognized university/college.

Applications without disclosure of age and marks/percentage/CGPA for each level of degree from SLC/equivalent onwards shall be automatically disqualified.
