Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Keep an eye on a variety of regional and international channels.
  • Keep an eye on the devices at the Data Center.
  • Inform and communicate information to the appropriate departments about the downtime caused by incidents.
  • The report, open and close occurrences as they happen.
  • Make a thorough record of any IPTV-related incidents that occur.
  • Assist ViaTV and Vianet in resolving problems by acting as a mediator and central source of information.
  • For seamless functioning, manage and maintain the monitoring tools.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the monitoring tools in use, such as MRTG, Check MK, Cacti, and Zabbix.
  • The data centre must be maintained and managed.
  • Take care of any problems that arise in the data centre or with IPTV and resolve them as soon as possible.
  • Technical IPTV escalations should be handled by the agent ahead of time.
  • Log customer/employee inquiries under the appropriate heading, along with the problem indicated in the task.
  • Customer-to-customer and department-to-department coordination
  • Identify and escalate high-priority issues following client requirements.
  • Develop diagnostic skills with an IPTV solution in mind.
  • Participate in the documenting and active resolution of such requests.
  • With a uniform title and unambiguous wording, update the task when action is taken to troubleshoot.
  • Problems should be escalated to other departments and supervisors as soon as possible.
  • Inform other team members about the problems and the steps taken to resolve them.
  • Receive tasks from other shifts and manage them by prioritizing solutions.
  • Actively participate in training (both technical and non-technical) to improve learning.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the department's KPIs are met.
