Description of the Position
As a Senior Manager – RSBU (Retails Sector Business Unit), an incumbent's primary responsibility is to lead and direct the RSBU (which includes the Marketing Team, Pre-Sales Team, Post-Sales Team, and Semi-Technical Team) to meet or exceed the business unit's sales revenue, profitability, and budgetary objectives. The Senior Manager-RSBU will be in charge of all sales and business development operations, including market competitiveness, pricing, remuneration, and timely service delivery. Strategic planning, personnel management, selling, leveraging technology, and process improvement are all part of the job.

Functions / Duties

Measurement & Strategy

  • Develop business development plans and strategies to help the RSBU meet its sales and business objectives.
  • Provide annual sales forecasting that is precise and accurate, as well as gross margin estimates.
  • Develop a strategy for the entire organization in relation to the contribution from RSBU with other members of the Management Team.
  • Manage the complete sales process and create a sales funnel management matrix to identify process flaws and take rapid corrective action, as well as preserve detailed records of lost accounts for future follow-up.
  • Ensure that the installation procedure for new customers and the renewal process for current customers are completed on time.
  • Determines and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) for the unit, such as revenue vs. plan, booking closure rate, total and service revenue, and so on.
  • In collaboration with other divisions, monitor service quality and provide a quarterly report to the COO on the results.
  • Anticipate and respond swiftly to performance trends and adjustments. Develop and maintain the Direct Cost budgets for the RSB Unit.
Leadership
  • In addition to directing and managing RSBU employees, become a role model for the company's culture.
  • Hire, develop, manage, and mentor RSBU employees in accordance with the company's maturity and size, and directly oversee/mentor Sales Managers, retention team, technical, and collection team members, as well as define their duties and responsibilities.
  • Define and manage incentive schemes that encourage salespeople to meet their quotas.

  • Develop aggressive, yet attainable, operational goals for the division and individuals within the division that are connected to the company's long-term goals.

  • Conduct a yearly performance appraisal analysis and make recommendations to the immediate supervisor for salary changes or promotions.

Selling
  • Assists with difficult sales discussions attend sales presentations, and assists in the closing of sales deals.
  • As needed, directly handles very large, high-profile customer accounts and assists in the development of sales proposals and replies to RFPs (RFPs)
  • Develops and manages a new and existing personnel sales training program. Similarly, it guarantees that salespeople have the product, system, and selling-skills training they need to succeed.
  • Work with Business Development to build high-performing sales collateral and tools, as well as establish creative product/packages and revenue creation strategies.
  • Create pricing policies for particular bundles and consumers, including bulk discounts and terms and restrictions.
  • Compile statistics and information on customer and prospect interactions. Travel is necessary for in-person encounters with customers and partners, as well as the development of important relationships.
  • Customer, market, government regulations, and competitor activities are all monitored, and feedback is sent to the firm leadership team and other departments.
  • Manage key client connections and assist in the closing of significant opportunities for the company's customer base expansion, as well as lead generation activities.

Continuous Improvements and Technology
