Additional Information
- A bachelor's degree in management is required.
- Candidates having a bachelor's degree in agriculture are encouraged to apply.
- Strong mathematics skills are required, particularly the ability to handle large amounts of business data, evaluate it, and make appropriate decisions based on it.
- Must be able to use Excel at a starting level, ideally at a medium level.
- Must be self-motivated and willing to put in long hours during the training session.
- Should be a natural leader with a lead by example/doing approach. Will be in charge of a developing team.
- Must be able to lead a group of young subordinates, particularly in technical matters.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills are necessary.
- This position requires excellent follow-up and timeliness on daily duties.
Note:
Because there will be a lot of traveling to stores and warehouses, a bike/scooter driver's license is required. It is preferable to have a bicycle or scooter.
Description of the Position
- Lead the SCM Demand Planning and Inventory Team as a whole.
- As the second-in-command of the overall SCM Department, implements and assures the actual implementation of the plans/processes on the ground by coordinating and syncing the efforts of the SCM logistics team with the plans.
- Participate in the planning, development, and execution of the SCM Departmental objectives with the SCM Head at the highest level.
- Drill down to the SKU level, to each and every shop, to ensure adequate age, circulation, rebalances, and allocations are in place to meet inventory turns.
- As a result, the chance of running out of supply is reduced.
- Develop robust, data-driven analytical reports and suggestions for ongoing SCM process and control improvement, based on precise data-driven analysis and projections.
- Makes timely follow-ups with all relevant internal/external stakeholders, ensuring that all management decisions are completely executed at the warehouse and retail level, with daily/weekly progress tracking.
