EnergizeNepal (ENEP) is a program funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Norway. The Programme is managed by Kathmandu University (KU), Nepal in close cooperation with Hydro Lab Pvt. Ltd., Nepal; SINTEF Energy Research (SEfAS), Norway. and Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Norway. The program aims to improve the capacity of research and education required for the development of renewable energy, especially focusing on the Hydropower sector in Nepal and the region through institute-industry partnership for applied research and development of innovative ideas and technologies; development of competent human resources to implement development activities; and commercialization of innovative renewable energy-related products and services by supporting entrepreneurial start-up companies.

Necessary Job Information:
1. Position: Programme Manager
2. Contract type: Full time
3. Contract Duration: One year
4. Duty station: Dhulikhel with field visits as necessary
5. Major Responsibilities: Overall management of the program (day-to-day operation, organization of meetings, planning of operations, execution of plans, reporting, financial management. etc.) and R&D project funding management (proposal evaluation, contracting, funding. monitoring, evaluation, report approval, cost approval, and outcome dissemination).
6. Minimum qualification and experience: A Masters's level degree or Ph.D. in engineering, renewable energy, hydropower. natural resources management or related field with 10 years of working experience in renewable energy and environmental management or related fields with recognized technical expertise.
