Necessary Job Information:

  1. Job Title: National Consultant for HR Support Services
  2. Job Category: NGO / INGO / Social work
  3. Job Type: Full Time
  4. Salary: As Per Organisation's Rule
  5. Job Location: Kathmandu (Nepal)
  6. No. of consultant: Two or more
  7. Unit: Human Resources Unit, UNDP
  8. Deadline: 2021-06-20
  9. Estimated number of days: As and when required basis during the Long-Term Agreement period Time Duration: The consultancy will be on a retainer basis for a period of two years and renewable on a performance basis.
  10. Places of Travel: Not foreseen. UNDP will cover the cost of travel and DSA as per UNDP’s rules and regulations in case the travel is needed.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare a long list of candidates for national and international advertised posts ensuring the long-listed candidates meet the advertised requirements keeping in consideration the UNDP workforce diversity policy.
  2. Prepare a one-pager summary and criteria used for long-listing.
  3. Prepare a table containing name, age, gender, education, no. of years of experience, and remarks on an Excel sheet.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Bachelor’s Degree from a reputed university in social sciences/HR/ Business or related field.
  2. Minimum five years of experience in human resources/administration/project management/operations.
  3. Good understanding of UN/UNDP systems and procedures.
  4. Good English language skills are mandatory.
  5. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Proven hands-on computer skills (MS Office), skills to work with databases and internet tools.
  7. Past work with UN / UNDP will be an advantage
  8. High level of professionalism. Maintained objectivity, confidentiality, and due care.
